UHMW-PE frontal face (facing) pads panels are equipped with marine rubber fenders and steel frontal panels. The material of uhmw-pe face pads is ultra high molecular weight polyethlene, providing a higher abrasion resistance with lower-friction properties. Uhmw-pe face pads panels decrease friction caused between ships and marine fendering system. They are regularly installed with arch fenders, cell fenders, cone fenders and I fenders etc. PE face pads can be produced in sizes to suit steel frontal panels. UHMW-PE frontal pads are fixed to panel generally with Stainless Steel studs that are welded to the skin of steel panels.

UHMW-PE facing pads is strongest and toughest for marine applications. UHMW-PE normally arrives on site pre-fitted to steel frontal panels. UHMW-PE is available in many colors, such as black, yellow blue, red, orange and so on. We have three types of facing pads recently which are Corner Pad, Edge Pad, Flat Pad.
