Marine rubber airbags can be used to dock, upslip ships, barges for repair works. These marine airbags are named ship landing airbags or hauling out airbags. We manufacture marine airbags in whole airbag enlacing technology, with higher safety coefficient. Ship upslip is opposite to ship launch, but for rubber marine airbags, they all work to lift ships or vessels up and much more strength would be required accordingly. Same as ship launching, besides marine airbags, other equipments like air compressors, anchors, wire ropes etc. also are needed.
Ship docking airbags have same construction feature with ship launching airbags. It is produced with inner rubber layer, middle reinforced synthetic ire cord layers and outer rubber layers. Then enlaced firmly.
–High strength inner, outer rubber layer:
These two type layers are pure rubber without cords. They perform well on tensile and tearance. Inner rubber layer will seal air pressure and outer layer prevent airbag skin from scratch.
–Reinforcing synthetic tire cords:
Synthetic tire cord layers is the material to enhance airbags. Its strength is much more than 205 N per cord according to iso 14409.
Specification of one marine airbag include diameter, effective length, and reinforcing layers. We have standard 0.8m, 1.0m, 1.2m, 1.5m, 1.8m, 2.0m in diameter and customized sizes available. For effective length, it range from 6m-20m.
